Darla at Senior Living Advisors did a very good job of making a horrible situation better. She helped match my dad to Casita Senior Living. He has been there less than a week and misses being in his own home. However, I have worked in a private caregiving home, and Casita does even more than I expected. Darla's caring nature and placement skills are very valuable. Lean on her, and she will guide you to get where you are going. Thank you for coming by this afternoon and for introducing Darla. I have tried what you suggested, but have been unsuccessful. I brought up the review I inadvertently created for Fairwinds and tried to edit it but there is no facility for doing that that I can discern. I also went to your site and looked for a means of entering a review but found none. So, I'm sending you this review below which I hope you or someone in your organization can enter as a review. I was recently discharged from the UNMH Cancer center and looking for a place to live. I called several independent and assisted living places but was unable to find anyone with room for me. By chance, the last place I called suggested that I contact Mr. Mario Romero at Senior Living Advisors NM. Mario's response was immediate, thorough and expert. Within a day he had found me a slot at Fairwinds Senior Living. Not only did Mario find me this slot at a time when there was little other, if anything, available here in Albuquerque but he walked me through the entire process. Mario coached me on what to look for, what questions to ask and even accompanied me to the meeting with the staff at the Fairwinds facility. It was through his efforts that the process of entering the facility was expedited so that I was in in only two days. This, in my opinion, was remarkable. Mario has continued to keep tabs on me and offers to assist me in a variety of ways even including finding furniture or other necessities and offering to pick up and deliver the furniture! I am in awe of Mario Romero. His expertise, competence and thoroughness are without peer, but his compassion and willingness to help exceed even those qualities. Without Mario's help I have no idea where I would be. It is my strongest recommendation that should anyone need assistance in finding an independent or assisted living facility, that they contact Mario.

Mario contacted me within a day of my referral. Within a week he came to meet my mother and I at our home. He followed up on some leads I hadn't got to yet and phoned me his findings the same day. A few days later, he organized and made several appointments for visitations within our price range. I found a place that I liked on that tour. My mother moved in 2 weeks later. She and I are both very pleased with our choice. We met Mario and within a month we found a place that was perfect for my mom! Mario has since followed up to ensure our satisfaction.

My daughter and I were looking at independent / assisted living facilities for my aunt who is 98, but it wound up that she was not ready to move yet.
